Full description
Bray, L. + Crabb, A., 2017, HER Field Updates (Cartographic). SDV361914.
Visited 21.04.17 and plotted using GPS. Enclosure bank thought to be of prehistoric date.
Bray, L., 2017, Prehistoric settlement 550m east of Sherrell Farm, HD7 (Worksheet). SDV363038.
A poorly defined, curving bank and break in slope, possible defining part of an enclosure boundary around HD1, HD2 and HD3, with HD5/6 defining its northern side. It runs for around 70 metres to the west and south of the hut circles with a stony fabric being visible on the surface in places. Its relationship with HD6 to the north is obscure while the eastern side of any enclosure has been effaced by the reservoir track and the medieval fields in this direction.
