Linear and curvilinear banks interpreted as field boundaries of a post-medieval field system are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken from 1945 onwards and on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. A number of the earthworks correspond with field boundaries shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, although they mostly appear to have passed out of use by this time. A more complex arrangements of earthwork banks is visible to the west. These define several rectilinear land parcels with a small circular banked enclosure, circa 15m diameter, of a possible stock enclosure located within one of these land parcels at SX59264910. The earthworks have been truncated by the earthwork ditches of a 19th century catch meadow system (MDV125808).
