Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2019-2020, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 2, Avon Valley to Plymouth (AI&M, formerly NMP) (Interpretation). SDV362982.

Some of the trackways across Roborough Down that are marked on the late-19th century maps are visible as earthwork ditches on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on visualisations of lidar data captured in 2013. Additional features are also visible extending beyond the mapped trackways. The earthworks vary in width and depth, with a particularly wide part at circa SX5037965387 which seems to have a narrow bank on its southern side; in other places they appear to break into several diverged threads for example at SX5081365358. They may cover a wide date range. Only those that are not depicted accurately on the historic mapping have been transcribed.
