A branching curvilinear earthwork ditch, circa 1.5 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on visualisations of lidar data captured in 2013. It appears to predate the Second World War camp (MDV56228) that overlies it. It looks like a leat, though it crosses the contour and does not have a clear relationship to any of the tin mining features, and is more likely to be a trackway that predates the late-19th century.
