A curvilinear earthwork ditch, circa 1.5 metres in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards, located between the Devonport and the Plymouth leats. A similar curvilinear feature is visible 8 to 12 metres to the west, interpreted as a leat (MDV105293). However this earthwork feature appears to link to a road that enters Roborough Down at 251932,66097, and may be a trackway.
