Three parallel curvilinear earthwork ditches, less than a metre wide, are visible on south-facing slopes south of Stokehill, on aerial photographs taken between 1946 and 2007. They drop less than 5 metres over a visible length of 350 metres, and are interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century gutters of a catchmeadow. The water source is not clear from the available mapping, but it is likely to have been fed by a natural channel running along the valley.
