A complex of low rectilinear structures is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1942 and 1951, just to the south-west of Harrowbeer airfield, and are recorded on a Second World War plan as a Sick Quarters Site. They are linked by well-defined trackways, and are a mixture of sizes, with pitched and flat roofs. Only some of the structures are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1964, and the area has since been developed; some of the trackways and building layouts are fossilised in the current layout of the site. It is not clear how much of the historic fabric has survived, but two structures, centred at SX5045067715 and SX5043567705, match the plan of two of the Second World War buildings.
