An earthwork labelled as ‘Quarry’ is shown to the southeast.

A sub-circular pit, circa 25m diameter, is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The visible earthwork does not correspond with any pit features depicted in this location on the available 19th century mapping, although an earthwork labelled as ‘Quarry’ (MDV45481) is shown to the southeast on the early 20th century Second Edition Ordnance Survey map. This supports the interpretation that this earthwork represents a possible 19th or early 20th century quarry.
