A dark, curvilinear cropmark interpreted as having formed over a levelled ditch, circa 1.3m wide, is visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken during the dry summer of 2018. The cropmark possibly defines the southwest half of a prehistoric or Romano-British ring ditch which measures circa 8m wide which is situated on gentle southeast facing slope. The cropmark is not visible on other available aerial imagery. A certain degree of caution should, however, be exercised and it is also possible the cropmark is of modern agricultural origin.
