Two linear earthwork ditches, one approximately 2 metres wide and the other at right angles to it at 4 metres wide, are visible crossing the perimeter of RAF Harrowbeer, on aerial photographs taken from 1946, and less distinctly on visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. They may have been drainage ditches associated with defence around the Second World War airfield.
