A slight linear earthwork circa 5m wide and 96m long is visible on aerial photographs of 1966 to the south-west of Slade.
The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the 19th or early 20th century maps available to the survey but is in keeping with the surrounding field pattern. It might be a continuation of a very straight boundary to the east, of probable post-medieval to 19th century date that was removed by circa 1840.
The bank has been near levelled but very slight traces can be seen on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017.
