A ditch or hollow up to circa 10m wide and 113m long is visible as a subtle earthwork crossing the slopes of a south-facing slope on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017.
The visible earthworks do not correspond with any field boundaries depicted on the 19th and early 20th century maps available to the survey but are in keeping with the character of the surrounding field pattern which is probably of medieval origin.
The earthwork is are interpreted as evidence of former field boundary, probably of medieval date, that was removed prior to circa 1840.
