A possible mound is visible as a possible earthwork.

A D-shaped positive feature is identifiable on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 on the south-facing slopes under the tree cover of Hemerdon Plantation. The feature is interpreted as a possible earthwork mound circa 20m across. However, dense tree cover in this location has resulted in poor lidar resolution and the possible mound might visible on the resultant visualisation might be an artefact of data processing. Field investigation is recommended to clarify the character of any earthwork in this location.
