A narrow curvilinear ditch, less than 2m wide, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthwork channel closely follows the contours of the northwest facing combe slope and is interpreted as a 19th century water channel. The water channel truncates an earthwork bank associated with a possible deserted medieval settlement (MDV126370).
