Earthworks of a circular pit, circa 3m diameter, surrounded by a bank, circa 1.5m wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1955. The earthworks are possibly associated with a Second World War searchlight battery (MDV72046) which has been recorded circa 175m to the north, but which may have been mis-located. Given this uncertainty, however, these earthworks have been recorded as a separate monument. They are not visible on the available aerial imagery after 1955 and have probably since been levelled.
