Summary
A disturbed stony platform immediately within the boundary wall of Slade Newtake south-west of Saddle Bridge appears to represent the former site of a hut circle. The feature is slightly sloping and measures 3.5 metres in diameter with a crude circle of stones marking the walls and no obvious entrance. Its poor condition is probably due to its proximity to the modern drystone boundary wall.

(10/01/1996) SX 66151 71684. A disturbed stony platform immediately within the boundary wall of Slade Newtake south-west of Saddle Bridge appears to represent the former site of a hut circle. The feature is slightly sloping and measures 3.5 metres in diameter with a crude circle of stones marking the walls and no obvious entrance. Its poor condition is probably due to its proximity to the modern drystone boundary wall.
