Linear earthworks of banks and a ditch are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2007 and from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthworks comprise a northeast to southwest aligned ditch, circa 3.5m wide which is flanked on each side by banks, circa 2m wide, with a short northwest to southeast aligned offshoot which extends off the southern bank. The earthworks are truncated by a series of channels of a catch meadow system (MDV126397). The southwestern extent of the earthworks corresponds with an L-shaped field boundary on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map. The earthworks are therefore interpreted as relict ditch and banked field boundaries of possible post-medieval date which had largely fallen out of use by the mid-19th century.
