Two sub-circular pits are visible as earthworks.

Two sub-circular pits are visible as earthworks.

The western of the two pits corresponds with a pond.

Two adjacent sub-circular pits, circa 10m diameter, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken from 1948 onwards and on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The size and form of the earthworks support the interpretation that they represent possible Second World War bomb craters. The western of the two pits corresponds with a pond depicted on the 2019 Ordnance Survey MasterMap.
