A curvilinear earthwork bank, circa 3 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. It fits into the surrounding extant field pattern of curvilinear enclosures probably originating from strip field farming in the medieval period. It is not depicted on the available 19th century maps, although it appears to be contiguous with a field boundary to the north-west that is depicted on the Tithe map. It is interpreted as the remains of a relict medieval field boundary that presumably went out of use by the mid-19th century.
