Sinuous and rectilinear earthwork banks, circa 5m wide and northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthworks partly correspond with field boundaries shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe map, although most are not shown on this map. They are therefore interpreted as relict field boundaries of medieval or post-medieval date which had largely passed out of use by the mid-19th century. A prominent kink in one of the field boundaries corresponds with an earthwork pit of a possible post-medieval or 19th century extractive pit (MDVXXXXXXXX).
