A rectilinear structure on the cliff edge on the south side of a cove is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 to 1955. It juts into the sea and appears to be a jetty, with two rises on the landward side. It is not depicted on the available 19th century mapping and seems likely to have a Second World War origin. It is not visible on recent aerial imagery, but some remains may survive.
