Summary

Hut attached to west side of enclosure, with internal diameter of 5.1 metres, walls up to 1.1 metres thick. Some stones of the wall are still visible but otherwise heavily covered by furze. The hut has level interior and the position of the entrance is not visible (2001 survey visit).

(Visited 12/02/2001) One of eleven huts associated with an agglomerated prehistoric settlement on the west slopes of Birch Tor. There are seven hut circles within the enclosed area and four on the exterior (see related records).
1. SX6851 8125 Attached to west side of enclosure B. The internal diameter is 5.1 metres and the walls are up to 1.1 metres thick, some stones of wall still visible but otherwise heavily covered by furze. The hut has level interior and the position of the entrance is not visible.
