Summary

Two Second World War Bomb Craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s and 1950s on the west-facing slopes south of Cann Wood. The craters had probably been levelled by the mid-1960s.

Two pits are visible as circular earthworks.

Two circular pits circa 8m in diameter are visible as earthworks circa 30m apart
on the west-facing slopes south of Cann Wood, on aerial photographs of 1946 and 1951.
The pits are interpreted as Second World War Bomb Craters.
The pits are not identifiable as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1964 and had probably been levelled by this date.
