A double curvilinear earthwork bank, each bank approximately 1 metre wide and together up to 9 metres across, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1945 and 1947 running roughly east to west south-west of Staddon Fort. At its western end where it terminates at the coastal edge it may have three parts. These are interpreted as the remains of a Second World War obstruction, probably associated with a similar feature to the east (MDV126516), from which the barbed wire had been removed by 1945.
