An oval earthwork pit, a maximum of 13 metres in diameter, is visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s and 1950s. It is interpreted as a Second World War bomb crater. It is not clearly visible on recent aerial imagery where the area is at least partly obscured by vegetation.
