White, A., 2009, Structural Appraisal, Arsenic Works, Devon Great Consols, Tamar Valley, Tavistock, Devon, 5-6, figs 1-17 (Report - Survey). SDV347876.

Structural appraisal provided of the arsenic condensers at SX 42568 73295. the building comprises two sets of stone and brick 1920s condensers constructed back to back. The internal Condensers are constructed from brick. Photographs show that the structure above the east and west walls has collapsed, together with a number of the brick arches over the condensers. Evidence of arsenic crystals within the condenser units and around the external brick arches.
North of the condensers are several connecting flues which led to a later set of condensers (no longer extant). The flues were constructed in stone masonry and steelwork , possibly constructing some form of valve system to regulate the gas flow. The external walls to the flues measure around 0.5m; comparable to the external walls of the Condensers.
