Full description
Edwards, M., 2019, Earthwork, east of Bucks Mills, Woolfardisworthy, Torridge: Geophysical Survey (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV363261.
A magnetometer survey was undertaken to provide an evaluation of any buried archaeology across the survey area.
A set of parallel anomaly groups run east-northeast to west-southwest are suggestive of former trackways. Anomaly 32 appears to enter the enclosure through an apparent gap in the bank. The patterning is regular and manifests across a wide band with no sensible or clear destination, which may indicate the possibility of a geological origin.
