A flat-roofed structure with convex south side is visible.

A flat roofed structure with convex south side, approximately 5 metres square, is visible on aerial photographs taken from the 1940s onwards. Openings in the south side are visible on oblique aerial photographs from 1958 onwards, but by 2014 a larger extension on the west side dominated the structure. It is marked as a possible battery observation post on an interpretative plan (Pye & Woodward 1996) and is likely to date to the 19th century.
