Three roughly circular pits circa 10m in diameter are visible.

The pits have been destroyed or obscured.

Three closely spaced roughly circular pits circa 10m in diameter are visible on aerial photographs of 1946 as shallow craters to the west of the former farmstead of Fernhill. They are interpreted as possible bomb craters of Second World war date.
The earthworks have been destroyed or obscured by landscaping associated with Lee Moor clay works.
