Earthworks of a sub-circular pit, circa 7m diameter, with an outer bank, circa 2.5m wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1947. The well-defined nature of the visible earthworks and the date of the photographs on which they appear visible support the interpretation that they represent a possible Second World War bomb crater. The earthworks have been levelled by 1966.
