Newman, P., 2012, An archaeological survey of features situated on the unnamed ridge between the head region of the Taw River and Steeperton Brook (centred SX8725 6135), SM 1-6 (Report - Survey). SDV360396.
A group of six features recorded as stony mounds. These have stone within their fabric but some are not typical appearance for prehistoric cairns and may be the result of clearance by peat cutters. Alternatively they may be natural features. 3 and 4 highlighted as possible prehistoric cairns.
