Full description
Doggett, N., 1983, The North Devon Link Road (Stage One). Sampford Peverell to Tiverton, F.1 (Un-published). SDV363254.
A small roughly circular feature, circa 0.4 metres diameter, located during topsoil stripping for the North Devon Link Road. The fill comprised a brown-black loam with charcoal, burnt stone and flint and also a possible crucible fragment. It may, therefore, have been a hearth.
