A linear bank less than 2m wide is visible on aerial photographs of 1969 as an earthwork circa 42m long, crossing the contours of a south-west facing slopes west of Rook Tor.
The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Cornwood but is in keeping with the character of the field pattern to the west. It is interpreted as a possible field boundary, potentially of medieval to post-medieval date.
The earthwork remains visible on images derived from aerial photographs of 2016.
