One of the earthworks possibly corresponds with a field boundary in this location.

Linear and curvilinear earthwork banks, between 7m and 20m wide and spaced between 12m and 15m apart, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The northeast to southwest aligned earthworks are closely in keeping with the historic field pattern depicted in this location, which is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields. One of the visible earthworks possibly corresponds with a field boundary shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map. The form of the earthworks supports the interpretation they represent evidence of a medieval strips field which had largely passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
