Summary

Former farm building probably dating to the early-mid 19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble and includes a granite ashlar Tudor arch reused from the old manor. Modernised in the late 20th century.

Thorp, J. R. L., 1994, Gratton Farm, Meavy, 26-7, 39-40, (Report - Survey). SDV347822.

Granary dating to the early-mid 19th century. Small, gable-ended (originally hipped) two-storey building north-east of the house. Built from relatively small stones and roofed with corrugated asbestos. The granary was on the first floor and reached by a flight of stone steps against the south-west end. A compartment under the steps may have been a goose-pen. The south-west room on the ground floor has a doorway making use of a granite ashlar Tudor arch (16th or 17th century in date).
