Curvilinear earthwork banks, visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, are interpreted as the remains of relict medieval field boundaries that went out of use by the mid-19th century.

Several parallel curvilinear earthwork ditches, up to circa 3 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. Their alignment and spacing is typical of curvilinear enclosures probably originating from strip field farming in the medieval period, and some of the banks correspond to field boundaries depicted on the historic mapping. Only those that are not depicted on the historic mapping have been transcribed, and these probably went out of use by the mid-19th century.
