Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2019-2020, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 2, Avon Valley to Plymouth (AI&M, formerly NMP) (Interpretation). SDV362982.

A curvilinear bank, circa 8m wide and northwest to southeast aligned, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The northwest extent of the earthwork possibly corresponds with the corner of a dashed-line enclosure depicted on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map. It is in keeping with the historic field pattern depicted in this location, which is characterised as medieval enclosures and is therefore interpreted as a relict field boundary of potential medieval date which had almost completely passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
