A narrow linear ditch, circa 2m wide, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The visible earthwork partly corresponds with a watercourse shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map and on the late 19th century First Edition map on which it is labelled as ‘Leat’. The leat branches off from Plymouth Leat (MDV19102) at SX50916331, from where it extends downslope to a length of circa 240m towards the former dwelling of Frogmere Cottage, at which point it turns southwards for a short distance and terminates. The earthwork is not visible on other available aerial imagery and its survival is unknown.
