A banked pit is visible as an earthwork.

A roughly circular pit approximately 6m in diameter is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 on the south-facing slopes north-east of Lower Cadworthy Farm. The pit is flanked on three sides by a low bank up to 3m wide.
The date and function of the pit are unclear, but it might be a prospecting pit of medieval to post-medieval date, although this would be unusual in an enclosed location.
