Two Second World War bomb craters, 7 metres in diameter, are visible as circular earthwork pits on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. One is close to the road and has visible upcast around it, though not on the side closest to the road. There is no evidence of either on more recent aerial imagery and they appear to have been levelled.
