Two probable Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthwork pits on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. One appears to survive as earthworks visible on digital visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017.

Two circular earthwork pits, between 3.5 and 6 metres in diameter, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1947. They are interpreted as Second World War bomb craters. At least one of them appears to survive as an earthwork visible on digital visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017.
