Dark rectilinear cropmarks, between 1.5 and 3 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in drought conditions in 2018. They are interpreted as having formed over the buried ditches of former enclosure ditches. They do not fit into the historic field pattern depicted on the 19th century mapping, and are likely to pre-date the curvilinear boundaries depicted on the Tithe map, which are likely to be medieval in origin. Typologically, the southernmost cropmarks seem to form the northern part of an enclosure 70 metres in width, with the western side of a smaller enclosure at its north-east corner, and a larger enclosure immediately to its north.
