The earthworks do not correspond with any pit or bank features in this location.

Earthworks of a sub-circular pit, circa 3m diameter, enclosed by an oval bank, circa 9m long by 7m wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The visible earthworks do not correspond with any pit or bank features depicted in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or later available historic mapping. The earthworks are interpreted as a possible post-medieval or early 19th century extractive pit. They are not visible on the available aerial imagery after 1946 and their survival is unknown.
