Summary
A rectilinear earthwork bank in woodland is visible as an earthwork bank on visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. Its origin is uncertain but it probably fell out of use by the mid-19th century, perhaps when the land was emparked.

A rectilinear earthwork bank, approximately 1.5 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on digital visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It is located within a plot of pasture on the Tithe apportionment and named ‘Great New Park’, but depicted as mixed woodland by the late-19th century mapping. It appears to be truncated by a trackway depicted on the available historic maps, and so is likely to predate the mid-19th century.
