A dark circular cropmark is visible, encircled by a curvilinear dark cropmark with linear cropmarks spreading out from it.

An earthwork pit, circa 16 metres in diameter, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 and visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It is visible as a dark cropmark on the aerial photographs, with linear cropmarks spreading outwards from a dark curvilinear cropmark encircling its north and west side. It is tentatively interpreted as the remains of a Second World War bomb crater and surrounding upcast.
