Possible small, oval enclosure identified during aerial photographic transcription undertaken as part of the programme of archaeological investigations for the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project.
The enclosure (AP4) which was visible only on the 1946 RAF aerial photographs is located immediately south-west of the main survey area, centred on SY22318837. It measures approximately 70m by 55m. The north-west edge appears to have been levelled by a trackway leading onto South Down Common.
