Granite stone, 1.75m high inscribed close to the edge of the stone. The inscription appears to read DAPONNIC-- NASC FI, translated as Dapannicius son of Nascus.
The stone was used in recent times as a post for a linhay. Two other contemporary stones also from Buckland Monachorum are now in the vicarage garden in Tavistock.
Current location of stone unknown.
