Dark linear cropmarks, interpreted as having formed over buried ditches, circa 1.5m wide, are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2018. The cropmark ditches define three sides of a rectilinear enclosure which measures circa 38m across, with angular corner visible to the southwest. The origin of the eastern cropmark is, however, less certain and may represent a modern agricultural mark. The morphology of the cropmarks suggests a late prehistoric or Roman date. The cropmarks are not visible on other available aerial imagery.
