An earthwork of a curvilinear bank, circa 3m wide, which possibly forms the eastern half of an enclosure, circa 33m across, is visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The earthwork does not correspond with any curvilinear features on the late 19th century First Edition map, or on later available historic maps. It is interpreted as an enclosure of uncertain function of between medieval to mid-19th date, which had passed out of use by the late 19th century. Some caution should, however, be exercised as it is also possible the earthwork is of modern agricultural origin, or else represents an artefact derived from lidar processing. The enclosure is not visible on other available aerial imagery.
