Dark curvilinear cropmarks, interpreted as having formed over buried ditches, circa 2.5m wide, are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2010. The visible cropmarks comprise two parallel ditches to the north and a short ditch segment to the south which possibly form a double-ditched curvilinear enclosure, circa 55m across. The morphology of the cropmarks suggests a late prehistoric or Roman date. A roman coin hoard (MDV116819) in this location adds some support to this interpretation. Some degree of caution should, however, be exercised and it is also possible that the cropmarks are of modern agricultural origin.
